Judging by her mile-long stems, masses of wild blonde hair, and 36-21-37 boom-boom body, it’s no coincidence that Laurene Landon’s first name sounds an awful lot like alluring. This comely Canadian-born commodity was raised in the U.S., where she started her film career at twenty-one, mostly in B-fare. Roles in the Mike Hammer flick I, the Jury (1981) and Airplane II: the Sequel (1982) upped her profile, and shortly thereafter, she (finally!) offed her clothes in the barbarian babe-a-thon Hundra (1983). In the barely revealing scene, Laurene rides horseback naked by the ocean. You get brief glimpses of boob and leg, but everything’s dimly lit in morning light. It’s a start at least! A year later we got a sexy albeit dressed appearance from Landon again in the film Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold (1984). Laurene appeared onscreen steadily until taking some time off in the 1990s, but she made a triumphant (yet, sadly, clothed) return to showbiz with an appearance on perennial skin central favorite Masters of Horror in 2006. Luckily for all the flesh fanatics out there who love being teased more than seeing the real goods, Laurene has treated us with lots of appearances in B-movies and TV shows the last 20 years. We’re happy that she has re-ignited her career (along with our lust), but hope that maybe she’ll grace us with a quick nipple shot or booty crack in the very near future.
